Sean Smith is a versatile performer, recording artist and songwriter whose career spans musical theatre, pop, dance and singer-songwriter genres, with consistent international chart success.
Early Career & Theatre
Sean has been performing professionally since the age of 7, appearing alongside Marti Webb in Evita and Brian Blessed in The Wizard of Oz.
He has appeared in numerous pantomimes with leading performers including Anita Dobson, Danny La Rue, Stephen Mulhern, Natasha Hamilton and Lorraine Chase.
Stage roles include tours of Dancing Queen, Spirit of Broadway, Elvis – The King of Rock ’n’ Roll, That’s Entertainment and We Will Rock You.
Same Difference & The X Factor
Sean rose to national prominence as one half of Same Difference, finalists on The X Factor (Series 4), mentored by Simon Cowell.
The duo finished 3rd out of 250,000 applicants, before signing with Syco Music.
